In line with the objective of reducing cervical – uterine cancer mortality, promoted by WHO (World Health Organization), annually and with the cooperation of the Salvadoran Social Security Institute (ISSS), we carry out cytology test campaigns for women who work for Grupo San Nicol\u00e1s. Likewise, we have a blood bank with the Salvadoran Red Cross, where we carry out donation campaigns on a quarterly basis to benefit our collaborators and their families in emergency cases.<\/p>\n

Committed to Salvadoran children and people with physical conditions that affect their quality of life, in alliance with the San Salvador Cuscatlan Rotary Club, we organize surgical campaigns with foreign physicians. Once a year, a team of international specialists made up of orthopedic doctors, podiatrists and nurses perform surgeries on low-income children with impairments in their lower extremities, such as varus foot, among others. To date we have contributed to the successful completion of 400 surgeries and have donated 500 prostheses.<\/p>\n

Likewise, every year we take part in the organization of harelip and cleft palate medical missions, where poor children get free corrective surgery (ies). For approximately 10 years, 360 people previously evaluated and qualified to be operated, have benefited and today enjoy a smile.<\/p>\n

As an effective aid entity, during the worldwide pandemic, we show our commitment to El Salvador, donating drugs and medical supplies to governmental and non-governmental organizations, directly involved in the Covid \u2013 19 pandemic management.\u00a0 In addition, we provided our employees with the needed medicines and supplies to be as protected as possible from the virus.\u00a0 Moreover, we gave motivational and psychological assistance, and carry out blood and plasma donation campaigns.<\/p>\n
